We made a zine! To celebrate our first anniversary, we commissioned artist Katie Drackert to create a printable mini-magazine of our first year’s highlights, as well as top Long COVID and COVID-19 resources.
We wanted to bring The Sick Times offline and into coffee shops, art fairs, community centers, mask bloc distributions, and anywhere else our readers want to share our work. Please print it and distribute it widely!
You can download and print the zine using the file below, or read it online here.
Printing instructions:
Print on four sheets of letter paper (8.5 by 11 inches), double-sided, flip on short edge (or “short-edge binding”). The zine looks good in color or black and white!
Stack the four pages as follows:
- Reinfections/blood donations (pages 8 & 9) on top;
- Bernie/stigma (pages 6 & 11) below;
- COVID-19 trends/Art part 1 (pages 4 & 13) below that;
- List of contributors/Astrology (pages 2 & 15) on bottom, with the cover page facing out.
Fold all four pages in half, then staple or use other adhesive to stick them together in the middle.
Katie Drackert is a passionate artist and advocate living with Long COVID in the south. She primarily focuses on Long COVID awareness and access to pandemic safety tools through Clear the Air ATX.
All articles by The Sick Times are available for other outlets to republish free of charge. We request that you credit us and link back to our website.
