On Friday, March 15, people with Long Covid and their allies gathered in front of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington D.C. for the Long Covid D.C. (LCDC) protest to commemorate Long Covid Awareness Day .
The protest gathered a passionate crowd from across the country and featured numerous speakers who shared their experiences with the disease. Many protestors shared demands for the federal government: to declare Long Covid a national emergency, for immediate treatments, and for more federal support and acknowledgment of the disease.
